This role provides administrative and documentation support to ensure an efficient settlement process. You will work closely with brokers, lenders, and internal teams to maintain accuracy and ensure settlements progress smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the settlement process from loan unconditional approval to settlement
  • Review and verify mortgage documentation for accuracy, including loan structures, rates, and customer details
  • Liaise with brokers, lenders, and internal teams to ensure documentation requirements are met
  • Maintain accurate records and update settlement progress in internal systems
  • Monitor settlement timelines and follow up on outstanding tasks to avoid delays
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards
  • Support internal teams by providing consistent and accurate information
  • Work with the Settlements Manager to resolve issues and maintain a smooth workflow
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry and file management
  • Conduct post-settlement tasks, such as confirming settled loan structures with banks (interest rates, offset accounts, direct debit details)
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives

About You

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Experience in administration or settlements support, preferably in mortgage lending
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and handling documentation
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Familiarity with settlement systems, software, and regulatory requirements (desirable)
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work as part of a team
  • A proactive approach to monitoring deadlines and resolving discrepancies
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external partners
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
